Harat Al-Nizzar is one of the oldest continuously inhabited neighborhoods in Izki, Oman, with a history spanning over 1,500 years. Unlike the nearby abandoned Harat Al-Yemen, Harat Al-Nizzar remains vibrant, showcasing traditional Omani architecture, ancient houses, mosques, and forts. One of its most famous landmarks is the Rahba Gate, built over a thousand years ago. The neighborhood also features the historic Al Hawari Mosque and the legendary Well of Al Maghaba, believed to be extremely deep.
