Bahla Fort
Description
Bahla Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Oman’s most impressive historical landmarks. Built between the 12th and 15th centuries by the Banu Nebhan tribe, the fort features massive adobe walls, traditional Omani architecture, and a strategic location overlooking the oasis of Bahla. It played a vital role in protecting trade routes and the surrounding region.
