Al-Marnif Cave is a famous natural site located about 40 kilometers west of Salalah in Dhofar Governorate, Oman. It is known for its unique limestone formations and stunning views overlooking the Arabian Sea. Despite its name, Al-Marnif is not a traditional cave but a large rocky shelter with open spaces. One of the main attractions is the natural blowholes, where seawater shoots up through holes in the rocks, creating impressive fountains especially during the Khareef (monsoon) season. The area has walking paths, shaded seating, and facilities for visitors, making it a popular spot for tourists and nature lovers.
