The wall surrounding Bahla Fort is among the oldest and longest defensive walls in Oman, stretching over 12 kilometers. Built from mudbrick and stone, it once enclosed the ancient town of Bahla and served as a protective barrier against invasions. The wall features watchtowers and fortified gates, reflecting advanced defensive strategies of its time. Its presence highlights the strategic importance of Bahla as a political and trading hub during the Banu Nebhan dynasty. Though parts of the wall have eroded, restoration efforts continue to preserve this historic monument, making it a remarkable example of Omani fortification architecture
